Life goes on after a divorce, and often situations change, sometimes dramatically. When this occurs, one or both former spouses may wish to modify their divorce decree. Common issues for divorce decree modifications include: child support, custody, parenting time, and spousal maintenance. Property divisions are final and cannot be modified unless one of the parties can make a showing of fraud, undue influence, or some other extraordinary reason.
